Representative capability, not completed client work
Find the engineering evidence. Keep the source attached.
A controlled engineering knowledge assistant can help authorised users retrieve relevant information from drawings, P&IDs, standards, manuals, specifications, maintenance records and management-of-change documentation. Every answer should point back to the source, respect document permissions and stop when the evidence is missing or ambiguous.

Retrieval starts with document control.
The corpus is explicitly bounded. Access follows source permissions, and citations retain document identity, revision and status.
- Drawings and P&IDs
- Standards and manuals
- Specifications and work packs
- Maintenance records
- Change records
Evidence before fluency.
Permission-aware ingestion and retrieval keep citations attached to the result. Revision and document-status metadata are visible. The system must abstain when the source evidence is uncertain.
Acceptance evidence
- Evaluation against real specialist questions
- Specialist acceptance of cited answers
- Retrieval coverage across the approved corpus
- Permission-isolation testing
- Abstention when evidence is missing, superseded or uncertain
Known limitations stay visible.
Scans, handwriting, complex diagrams and inconsistent revision metadata can reduce retrieval quality. A controlled design identifies these limits rather than implying every P&ID, drawing or scan can be interpreted reliably.
Specialists retain the decision.
Retrieved evidence can assist review. It does not make autonomous engineering, operational or safety decisions.
